The International Fastener Expo is accepting nominations for the 2023 Fastener Hall of Fame and Young Fastener Professional of the Year prestigious Awards.
The Fastener Hall of Fame recognizes professionals who have made significant and enduring contributions to the industrial fastener industry on a national or global scale. Individuals selected for induction will join other honored industry members. The Young Fastener Professional of the Year award recognizes and honors a young professional who has made significant contributions to the fastener industry.
The nomination deadline has been extended to 5PM EST on July 6th.

Industrial 3D printing specialist Würth Additive Group has announced its CEO AJ Strandquist has joined a new task force focused on the use of additive manufacturing (AM) technology within the automotive repair industry.
The 3D Printing in Auto Repair Task Force has bold ambitions to revolutionize the automotive collision repair process with 3D printed parts. The goal is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automotive repair by allowing collision repair professionals to access replacement parts faster and on-demand, while minimizing inventory, waste and environmental impact. The task force is also said to be exploring the potential for 3D printed custom parts and components that are not currently available through traditional manufacturing methods. Read more:
The Industrial Supply Association (ISA) is announced its newly appointed board of directors for the 2023-2024 term.
